Hey, gang. For those of you who haven’t jumped over to The Athletic and don’t follow me on Twitter, yeah, I know: It’s been awhile. Hope you and your family and friends are well.
(Typing out the above reminds me – if you go to this link or any other Athletic story, you can get a *90*-day free trial right now, with no obligation. I mean: 90 days!)
The real reason I’m sending this out is that in the past few months I’ve donated close to 200 Newberg Report books to teachers and schools – and I want to kick that number up. Maybe even exponentially. I’ve got lots of back inventory for many seasons – including the two World Series seasons – and would love to put some books in the hands of schools that could use them for libraries, class instruction, book fairs, etc. I don’t come up with the game plan for how a bunch of Bound Editions can work for your students – that’s your job.
But I’d very much like to put these books to the most productive use possible. (So if you have ideas that extend beyond the school distributions, hit me up.)
Bottom line: If you are a teacher or school official and are interested, let me know ASAP. Caveat: I’m in the process of filling about 20 requests right now – some of which are for a lot of books – and so where possible I’m asking people to come pick them up.
(And for those of you who aren’t educators, and just want some extra books, I’d love to sell them at a little below my cost – about $15 each. But again: Free for educators.)
Let me know if you’re interested. I’d very much like to move as many books as I can by the end of this weekend.
Thanks.
Jamey
